SCHOOL VOUCHERS

WHAT ARE

SCHOOL SPORTS VOUCHERS

School Sports Vouchers are an initiative funded by the South Australian Government to encourage children to stay healthy and active. These vouchers can be used for membership fees at your sporting club or swim centre.

To be eligible your child just needs to be in school between Reception and year 9 and not to have used their voucher at any other gym or sporting club.

You can download the vouchers below and fill them out and bring them into the gym or we have copies already printed that you can fill out next time you come in for a lesson.

THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO GET THE JOB DONE

F.A.Q’s

At the moment we have to claim the vouchers through our governing body Boxing SA.  They keep $30 and your child becomes a financial member of Boxing SA and they forward the following $70 on to us.

This depends very much on the individual child.  We have had kids as young as 3 take part in out classes with a little support from their parents.  Some children and not ready until they are 5 or 6.  We encourage you to download the Glofox app here, register yourself first and then add your child to your account.  Once your child is registered navigate to their account and go to the membership tab and download the free week.  You can then come and try the classes risk free and see how your child goes.

These classes are perfect for kids who don’t like team sports!  They will work alongside other kids but can choose their level of team participation.  You get the best of both worlds.

The advantage of our kids classes is that often as the kids are learning the techniques for boxing and kickboxing and self defence they forget they are even working out.  We can also scale the fitness to support most kids.  We encourage you to download the Glofox app here, register yourself first and then add your child to your account.  Once your child is registered navigate to their account and go to the membership tab and download the free week.  You can then come and try the classes risk free and see how your child goes.

YES! We already have a number of children who have some extra needs.  If your child needs significant support during classes we are happy to provide that extra support by using your NDIS or private funding or to work with you and your carer to make the classes accessibly to all children who want to get involved.  If our classes are too loud or busy why not book a one on one session with one of trainers.
